Harold
“Pee Wee”
Reese
One of the best-loved baseball players of all time, Pee Wee played shortstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1940 to 1957 and was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. Through his highly visible support of Jackie Robinson as a new Dodger teammate, Pee Wee helped smooth the integration of major league baseball. The two became one of the most feared double-play combinations in history.
