Ed Hamilton
Noted sculptor Ed Hamilton has received numerous honorary degrees and awards for artistic achievements and community service. His works are admired in public venues across the country and are valued in many private collections as well. His 8-foot bronze sculpture of York, the slave who was an important member of the Lewis & Clark Expedition Corps, overlooks the Ohio River from the Belvedere Plaza in downtown Louisville.
